Victims of Karachi bomb attacks laid to rest

Karachi: Fourteen people martyred in Friday bomb attacks in Karachi were laid to rest at Model Colony, Malir graveyard today. The funeral prayers of the martyrs were offered at Hussaini Mission, RCD Ground Malir led by Allama Kausar Abbas Naqvi. The prayers were attended by a large number of people including the leaders and activists of various political parties and religious groups of the city. Fourteen deceased included five members of a family were Zameer Hussain, Anwar Abbas, Mohammed Ali, Babar Ali Hasnain, Anjum Hussain, Asif Hussain, Ahmed Hussain, Amir Hussain, Kazim Hussain, Shahanshah Hussain, Tauqeer Hussain, Salman Hussain, Zain Sohrab and Shahid Ali. The funeral prayers were offered under stringent security in the area.

Seven activist of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, who were killed in yesterday’s blast at Jinnah Hospital, were laid to rest at Azizabad graveyard on Saturday.

The funeral prayers of the martyrs were offered at Jinnah Ground adjacent to MQM Headquarter Nine Zero.

The deceased include Saddar Town Union Council Nazim Muhammad Khali, Unit Committee Line Areas member Muhammad Shafi, Ghulam Murtaza, Jami, Muhammad Kashif and Shahid.

They were buried at Shuhda graveyeard.
