Children for Sale: Trafficking by Foreign Embassies

Karachi: Solid evidences have revealed that foreign embassies in Pakistan are involved in illegal child trafficking. NGOs sponsored and supported by foreign embassies are adopting new born Pakistani Muslim children and sending them abroad, whereas local welfare organizations are also involved in the crime. Police refuses to take part in another “Karachi operation” episode

Karachi: Pakistan People’s Party has proposed an “operation” to clean up Karachi, after recent targeted killings in the city. A high level meeting comprising of key government figures and security agencies was held in Karachi to seek proposals for a “cleanup operation” in the largest metropolis city of Pakistan.

Footage Controversy: Tension between CDGK and Sindh Government

Karachi: Tension between City District Government Karachi and Sindh Government has increased after the blast at Moharram procession in Karachi.
Provincial Interior Minister Zulfiqar Mirza said in a statement on Thursday that the footage released by City Nazim Mustafa Kamal is not the whole truth. US lands suspicious equipment in Pakistan

LAHORE: Thai Airways on Sunday brought 10 suspicious boxes at the Allama Iqbal International Airport, where the top US Consulate officials were available to get these boxes load onto a truck without getting them checked by the airport authorities.

Sources said that the boxes were brought under the “diplomatic cover” and were loaded onto a white truck in the presence of top US Consulate officials in Pakistan. Pakistan Railway: Lack of Security Measures

Karachi: There seems to be almost no security measures at the Karachi and Lahore railway stations. Explosive Scanner machines for Karachi and Lahore railway stations have not been installed yet, due to what the Railway Ministry terms as “shortage of funds.” Two expensive detectors were donated to the Railway Department some time back. Due to lack of properly installed equipment, the two railway stations could possibly be targeted by terrorists.
