NEW YORK: Why should one switch channel to Comedy Central for the second season of ‘Inside Amy Schumer’? Schumer has a simple answer for that “You’ll laugh for 30 minutes.” Schumer asked fans to only watch the show if they enjoy laughing.
The sketch show’s creator and star had given few, very delectable, specific highlights. Season 2 will have the greatest guest stars including Paul Giamatti, targets like Aaron Sorkin, and interviews of professionals like a phone sex operator.
Teasing spoilers, Schumer cautioned those who are going through a rough patch in their dating phase against watching episode 2 with that person. She said they might want to leave the room when a sketch about military video games starts playing.
From the quality of its production to the scope of its jokes, season 2 will be bigger and bolder than season 1. Schumer is most proud of a sketch from episode 3 called “Wireless Bummers,” in which her character will struggle to contact Time Warner after her internet cuts off. Obviously the process is far from easy. Schumer is also fond of “The Food Room,” a parody on Newsroom parody that will co-stars guest, Josh Charles, the star of Aaron Sorkin’s beloved series Sports Night. Full of praises for him, Schumer said that Charles was not just there to deliver patter. He was hilarious, pitching amazing scenes and helped craft that sketch.
The premiere features Paul Giamatti in a role tailor-made for him, a schlubby, exasperated God who realizes a bit too late that he was going about the whole creation thing wrong. As per Schumer, convincing the Oscar nominee to take part in her show was as easy as running into him in New York City begging him to take the role. Other guest stars includes Charles, Zach Braff, Janeane Garofalo, Parker Posey and Rachel Dratch.
